  • Kit view — one screenshot of the library's main visual layout
  • Mapping page — screenshots of the entire MIDI mapping page(s), and/or a typed list of all MIDI note assignments
  • If you want a specific preset supported, include the mapping materials for that preset

      How to use

      1. Pick a source and destination library. If a library ships multiple mapping presets, a Preset chooser appears beneath it.
      2. Add MIDI files. Each file shows a count of unmapped articulations from the source library that don't have a curated equivalent on the destination.
      3. Expand a file to route unmapped articulations directly to any destination note. The dropdown lists all 0–127 notes; destination-library articulations are labeled inline so you can see what's at each slot. Use Show all library mappings below the file list to override any curated mapping, not just unmapped ones.
      4. Click Convert. Anything not routed is exported as a separate per-articulation MIDI file inside an (unmapped articulations) folder, so you can hand-place them in your DAW.

      ReKit is a free and hand-authored MIDI drum remapping tool made by SJS Audio. No fuzzy-matching logic or easily-broken mapping tables. Every library in ReKit is integrated through an advanced mapping framework so that remapping is both accurate and musical. Instruments and articulations keep their native names, and unmapped articulations get flagged so you can route them yourself.
